JanelleGames2025-07-198260

A new leak has provided fresh details surrounding the rumored Mansions update for Grand Theft Auto Online, which is likely to launch in December, if Rockstar follows its usual update release schedule. Grand Theft Auto Online players are still checking out the recent Money Fronts update, which was released last month, but data miners are continuing to uncover new information about the game's next update, which could be its biggest yet.

Grand Theft Auto Online's Money Fronts update added a whole host of new things for players to check out, including three new businesses for players to launder their money through, a plethora of new vehicles to purchase, plenty of new clothing items, and more. But the highlight of the update is the Hands On Car Wash, which players can purchase for $1,200,000 and begin their laundering empire. From here, players can complete different types of money laundering missions and earn passive income that can generate $50,000 per day.

Shortly after the release of Money Fronts, data miners made a huge discovery. According to new in-game files, Grand Theft Auto Online will release a highly requested feature in its next update: Mansions. There has been no confirmation from Rockstar as of yet, but leaker Tez2 has now taken to Twitter to reveal more details about the potential update. According to Tez, the upcoming mansions in Grand Theft Auto Online's Winter update will feature functionality similar to the Casino Penthouse. This means players will be able to host parties at their mansions and even install different arcade cabinets to play games while inside.

If Rockstar follows its usual release schedule, fans can likely expect the rumored Mansions update to arrive in December. However, there's a good chance this could be the live service title's last major content update. With Grand Theft Auto 6 releasing May 26, 2026, many are speculating that support for Grand Theft Auto Online will likely come to an end. Although Rockstar hasn't specified its plans for the current GTA Online, rumors and leaks suggest that Grand Theft Auto 6 will usher in a new era of GTA Online.

Very little is known about the potential next iteration of GTA Online, but a recent rumor did claim that GTA 6 Online may support much bigger player servers. According to a leaker, Rockstar Games is currently testing multiplayer lobbies with support for up to 64 players, which is double the amount of the current GTA Online. The rumor also claims that while 64-player servers are currently being tested behind the scenes, the studio is also aiming to add support for up to 96 players per server.
