MobLand: The Thrilling Return of Season 2 - 26 Million Fans Await the Next Chapter of the English Mafia Drama

The highly anticipated second season of the popular Paramount+ show MobLand has officially been green-lit, following a thrilling Season 1 that left fans on the edge of their seats. The English mafia drama, which has dominated both domestic and international charts and soared to No. 1 in the U.K., will return for at least one more season, putting to rest fears that the various plotlines would not be resolved. As of this writing, an exact release date for MobLand Season 2 has not been set, but assuming filming starts later this year, a 2026 release date does not seem out of the question. So far, Paramount+ and the cast have only shared a few highly stylized images on Instagram and other social media, suggesting that filming hasn't started yet. The cast for MobLand Season 2 will almost certainly include everyone who survived Season 1, with Pierce Brosnan returning as Conrad Harrigan, Tom Hardy as Harry Da Souza, Helen Mirren as Maeve Harrigan, Paddy Considine as Kevin Harrigan, Joanne Froggatt as Jan Da Souza, Lara Pulver as Bella Harrigan, Anson Boon as Eddie Harrigan, and Mandeep Dhillon as Seraphina Harrigan. Janet McTeer will also be back as Kat McAllister. Despite Brendan (Daniel Betts) being killed in Season 1, he could appear in flashbacks in Season 2. Similarly, O’Hara (Lisa Dwan) as the Harrigans' lawyer and Richie Stevenson (Geoff Bell) as the rival mob leader could also return via flashbacks. The season finale ended with several big cliffhangers, including Harry's wife Jan stabbing him by accident while having a tame argument in the kitchen. The teaser posters suggest that Harry will survive and be back in Season 2, but just like Season 1, MobLand Season 2 will keep us guessing right up until the very end. In addition to these cliffhangers, there are several loose ends to tie up, including Conrad and Maeve's release from prison and Seraphina's potential role in running the family business. Eddie Harrigan's disappearance at the end of Season 1 after learning that his grandfather was his true father also leaves room for more development in Season 2. Overall, MobLand Season 2 promises to be just as thrilling and unpredictable as its predecessor, with a cast full of returning favorites and new characters to look forward to.
