Sabrina Carpenter Attends Olivia Rodrigo's Concert in a Sweet Summer 2025 Trend They Both Love

If Sabrina Carpenter and Olivia Rodrigo “declared peace” at this year's Grammy Awards, they truly became allies in London on June 27.

After attending the Dior show in Paris earlier in the day, Carpenter traveled to London to catch Rodrigo's British Summer Time in Hyde Park. In photos shared by The Daily Mail, the 26-year-old “Manchild” singer was seen dancing and enjoying the performance with a drink in hand in a white babydoll dress and trendy oval glasses.

Rodrigo is also a fan of the sweet summer trend, recently wearing a butter yellow babydoll dress with a leopard print shoulder bag to see the Broadway play John Proctor is the Villain starring Sadie Sink. For her part, Carpenter wore her sheer white babydoll dress over white shorts, finishing off the concert look with a pair of black leather boots.

Of course, fans are having very calm, measured reactions to Carpenter's presence at the show.

You'll have to forgive fans for being emotional, as many of them have felt torn between the pop stars since Rodrigo released “Driver's License” back in 2021. For those of you still unfamiliar with the lore (how??), Carpenter allegedly dated High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star Joshua Bassett following his alleged situationship with his costar, Rodrigo.

Though Rodrigo does not insult the “blonde girl” referenced in her hit song, Carpenter faced enough backlash to write two response tracks, singing about “death threats filling up semi trucks” in “Because I Liked a Boy.” There's also an added layer involving Taylor Swift, but you'll have to read up on that elsewhere, because I want to get back into their most recent show of reconciliation.

While the pair hugged it out at the 2025 Grammys, Sabrina Carpenter's appearance at Olivia Rodrigo's show feels much more deliberate than a quick interaction at an industry event—and the show of support wasn't one-sided.

According to video and screenshots shared by fans, Carpenter's hit song “Espresso” was included in Rodrigo's pre-show playlist at a recent concert in Dublin, with the music video playing for fans as they waited for that show to start.

“The modern treaty of versailles,” one fan commented on a TikTok video about these latest updates, while another wrote, “I really hope everyone pitting them against each other finally stops and speculating on what’s gone on between them.”

With this appearance, fans are convinced they're going to “work it out on the remix,” either with a future collab or even a surpise cameo during Rodrigo's upcoming Glastonbury headlining set on June 29. After all, Rodrigo just brought out Swift's close friend Ed Sheeran for a rendition of his song “A-Team” at her Hyde Park concert.

“If they performed ‘Drivers License’ together I would die,” one fan said, while others suggested a mashup of “DL” and “BILAB.” Now that would truly be healing.
