Savannah Chrisley Reveals She Is 'Moving Into a Condo' Following Parents' Prison Release

Following her parents' release from prison, Savannah Chrisleyis moving out of her parents' $1.6 million mansion — and she isn't dreaming of home ownership.

One month after their release from federal custody, Todd, Julie and Savannah Chrisley sat down with Juju Chang for ABC News Studios’ IMPACT x Nightline.

In The Chrisleys: Life After Lockup, which aired on Sunday, June 29, Savannah joked that after two years of caring for her siblings and her parents' Nashville, Tenn. ,mansion, she's looking forward to going back to the "carefree life of a 28-year-old," as Chang joked.

"That's what I keep saying, I'm moving into a condo," Savannah tells ABC, recalling how her family has asked her: "'Aren't you gonna miss a house?'"

"I'm not gonna miss landscapers, I'm not gonna miss pool people," she continues, as her father, 56, chimes in: "I have learned that a house is not a priority to her."

"Maintenance is not a priority to her," Todd adds.

"No, I was raising kids," Savannah added, before recalling how her father reacted when he first stepped back in the Nashville home after just over two years in prison.

"He comes in and is critiquing everything in the house," she laughs. "I was literally fighting for y'all for two and a half years and raising kids, I think the floors are fine."

As for Todd and wife Julie, 52, the couple are looking to move to a new Southern city — Charleston, where they have a new business venture in mind.

"We have hopes of acquiring a mansion there that we're gonna convert to a hotel," Todd shares.

In June 2022, Todd and Julie wereconvicted of bank fraud and tax evasion. A federal judgesentenced Todd to 12 years in prisonand 16 months probation, while Julie received seven years in prison and 16 months probation. The couplereported to prisonon Jan. 17, 2023, and roughly 28 months later, President Trump granted them afull pardon.

Following their conviction, Savannah moved into the family'sNashville home, a 5,000 sq. ft. spread on half an acre in the Belle Meade area, which was originally purchased for areported $1.6 millionby her parents when they moved the family from Atlanta to Tennessee, and was regularly featured on their reality show. As the series became more popular, the house began to attract unwanted attention from visitors, according toRealtor.com.

Juliealso reportedlypurchased a new 12,000 sq. ft. home in Brentwood, Tenn., in April 2019 for $3.4 million. However, after a quick renovation, she placed the property back up for sale with a markup to $4.75 million just two months later. Julie eventually removed the listing after a year, and in 2023, the house finally found a buyer and a deal was closed in an off-market transaction, per Realtor.

Savannah has also been candid in the past about how she's struggled financially to take care of the family following her parents' arrest. In an episode of her podcastUnlocked last year,the 28-year-old opened up about the hardships she’s faced in the aftermath of her parents’ prison sentences.

“People comment and will say, like, ‘Oh, I feel so sorry for you, living off of mom and daddy’s stolen money,’” she told a group of friends on the episode. “And ‘You’re rich, it’s easy, stop trying to act like it’s so hard.’”

“I struggled," Savannah continued. “Like, I know what it feels like to not know how you’re going to pay your bills that month. ‘Cause I was left with three mortgages, and the lawyers, and kids.”

Savannah also became the guardian of two children: her brotherGrayson Chrisley, 17, andChloe Chrisley, 11. Chloe is the daughter of Kyle Chrisley, Todd's second child with his ex-wife, Teresa Terry, and had been under the care of Todd and Julie.
