In a recent interview with E! News, Scarlett Johansson, 40, shared her thoughts on the latest Jurassic World film, Jurassic World: Rebirth. She believes it is the scariest in the franchise and despite its terrifying nature, she thinks her 10-year-old daughter Rose is old enough to watch it. "I've been talking to some other Jurassic fans and they say this is the scariest one, but I would let my daughter see it," she said. "It's still appropriate for the family. You just gotta watch it through the crack in your fingers."

Johansson, who shares Rose with ex-husband Romain Dauriac, also recently welcomed a son named Cosmo with Saturday Night Live's Colin Jost in August 2021. At the premiere, she discussed her memories of watching the first Jurassic Park movie when she was 10 years old and how it left an impression on her. "That's part of what's so great about Jurassic. It's thrilling in all ways: visually and also emotionally," she said.

In the film, Johansson plays covert operative Zora Bennett, who embarks on a dangerous, top-secret mission alongside fellow adventurers Mahershala Ali and Jonathan Bailey. She also shared a rare comment about her son Cosmo during the London premiere last week, saying that his favorite Chappell Roan song is "HOT TO GO!"

Despite her public life, Johansson prefers to keep her kids out of the limelight. She recently explained why she won't let Rose join social media or get a phone. "I have a little guy who’s 3, so he’s not on a phone. He’s into Legos," she said last November. "My daughter’s 10, and so there’s a lot of that pressure coming around now, especially if she’s hanging out with older girls."

Johansson also shared her thoughts on social media and technology. "I don’t know, I think social media is hard for young people," she said. "It’s hard for me to process. I feel like technology is moving so much faster than our human egos can process."

Overall, Johansson seems to be a protective mother who values her family's privacy and wants to shield them from the fast-paced world of social media and technology. Despite her fears about the impact of technology on young people, she still believes that Jurassic World: Rebirth is appropriate for her family to watch together.
