According to what looks to be a resume found by users on social media, Alistair Williams has joined the upcoming film as its Special Effects Supervisor. Williams has history with Marvel, having worked on the upcoming The Fantastic Four: First Steps, as well as working on other big projects like Kraven the Hunter, The Gorge, How to Train Your Dragon, and several Fast & Furious movies.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is being directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
