What happened in Season 1 of The Buccaneers?
In Season 1, Nan and her sister and friends traveled to England to snare themselves some husbands, minus Conchita, whose wedding kicked off the first episode. Each member of the core quintet has her own experience with love and relationships —Nan becoming torn between the dashing Guy Thwarte and the mysterious Theo, Lizzy dodging a bullet in Lord Seadown, Jinny getting caught up in Lord Seadown’s crosshairs and Mabel finding that she is not alone in her search for a soulmate. The Season 1 finale culminated in Nan choosing to marry Theo and have her true love Guy take her sister to escape from her abusive husband with their baby.
