This company wants to send you free money for beach parking - or anything else you want!

A vodka-iced tea company is offering money between now and July 10 to help people pay for beach parking, or anything else, and it says there is no catch for those who sign up for the offer.
Boston-based Sun Cruiser, which sells the canned drinks, said on July 3 it will pay $20 to the first 500 people who sign up for the offer online at suncruiserbeachfund.com. To get the money, applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal residents, age 21 or older and have an account with smartphone app Venmo.
The online form requires applicants to submit their address, city, state, ZIP code, Venmo account email address, phone number and date of birth. It also asks applicants to describe their "ideal beach day in Florida."

Does the money have to be spent on beach parking?
Once applicants receive the $20, it's theirs to spend how they like, Walter said. Sun Cruiser specified beach parking because that is how they wanted to advertise the giveaway, but the company will not require recipients to spend the money as such.
What does Sun Cruiser get from this?

Although applicants must sign up with their phone number and the email address associated with their Venmo account, Sun Cruiser will not use people's personal information to send them advertisements or other unwanted messages, Walter said.
