Vantage to Invest $3B in AI Campus in Nevada

Vantage Data Centers announced it will invest nearly $3 billion to develop a new 224-megawatt (MW) data center campus in Nevada, just outside of Reno.

The project, called NV1, will cover 37 acres and include four multi-story data centers with about 1 MMsq ft of space. The first two buildings are set to open in second-quarter 2026.

The campus is designed to support high-density AI workloads, offering power levels between 360 and 720 watts per square foot. Vantage’s announcement did not specify how the campus would be powered.
