It's been 15 years since Oasis last performed live, following the band's dramatic split in 2009 after a backstage bust-up.

But Stop Crying Your Heart Out - because Liam and Noel Gallagher are reuniting, and Cardiff is the first stop on their highly anticipated comeback tour.

The first two nights of the 41-date run of gigs will be at the Principality Stadium, on Friday 4 and Saturday 5 July.

From the stadium roof to support acts and road closures, here's everything you need to know.

Some Might Say the Gallagher brothers have been a defining soundtrack to their lives ever since Oasis' debut album, Definitely Maybe, dropped in August 1994.

The band's last studio album, Dig Out Your Soul, was released in October 2008 just months before things came to a crashing halt in 2009 following a backstage row at Paris' Rock en Seine festival.

Oasis split and years of public feuding between Noel and Liam followed - until last August when the brothers announced they would be making a comeback.

Who are Oasis' support acts?

Oasis' support comes in double from Richard Ashcroft, frontman of The Verve, and Liverpool-based Britpop band Cast.

Fans will be hoping Ashcroft performs some of his biggest hits from The Verve days, including Bitter Sweet Symphony, The Drugs Don't Work and Lucky Man, among others.

According to the Oasis Fans Club, the connection between Ashcroft and the Gallaghers goes back decades as the band supported The Verve in 1993 during their early days.

More recently, Ashcroft joined Liam on stage at Finsbury Park in 2018, and the two collaborated again in 2022.

According to the Oasis Fans Club, Cast shared the stage with the band at their legendary Knebworth Park shows in 1996, and more recently supported Liam on his Definitely Maybe 30th anniversary tour in 2024.
