'When Calls the Heart' Fans Are "So Happy" to See Erin Krakow's Season 13 Update

When Calls the Heart is officially filming season 13 for Hallmark.

Actress Erin Krakow shared a sneak peek at the new season on Instagram.

Fans were ecstatic to see Erin back on set for When Calls the Heart season 13.

Erin Krakow has officially entered Hope Valley — and When Calls the Heart fans are overjoyed about it.

The Hallmark series recently kicked off filming for its milestone season 13, and fans are already thrilled about seeing the cast back together. Well, Erin (who plays Elizabeth Thornton) decided to share a heartwarming update of her own on July 2, when she posted a behind-the-scenes clip on Instagram.

As she shared the spotlight with co-stars Kevin McGarry (Nathan Grant), Jaeda Lily Miller (Allie Grant) and Hyland Goodrich (Jack "Little Jack" Thornton Jr.), the quartet is seen walking in the field in front of the Hope Valley schoolhouse/church. And if that's not enough, she seemingly teased Elizabeth's trajectory for where she ends up at some point in WCTH season 13.

"We got homesick. 😉," she joked in the caption, referencing the group's return after leaving for Cape Fullerton in the season 12 finale. "@wcth_tv is back in action filming Season 13!"

As soon as folks got wind of Erin's unexpected filming update, they immediately had hopes for where the Thornton and Grant families will end up on When Calls the Heart.

"The perfect family 😍❤️ It’s so good to see you back in Hope Valley. Let’s make this family official in season 13 🙏🏼❤️," one person wrote in the comments. "So excited you all are back! Can’t wait to see your work for Season 13!" another agreed. "This makes me so happy! Cannot wait to be back in Hope Valley!" a different follower exclaimed.

Well, we're certainly thrilled to see Erin back on set! Given how her character had to go to Cape Fullerton to find better medical care for Little Jack's diabetes diagnosis, it's good to know they will eventually make their way back home to Hope Valley. And while it's unclear what Elizabeth's full storyline will be (including where she stands with Nathan in their romantic relationship), we sure can't wait to see what's next.
