For Sale: Mansour Ojjeh’s McLaren Collection

It’s a big deal with Mansour Ojjeh’s personal McLaren collection not only has been revealed but is for sale. In total, there are almost two dozen vehicles up for sale, most of them in an unforgettable color. We expect fans of the British automaker will be salivating just looking at what all the man had in his garage.

The fact Ojjeh has such an impressive array of McLarens shouldn’t be a shock. After all, the man helped build it into one of the most successful Formula One teams of all time. He also pushed for road-legal cars to be built, ultimately resulting in the McLaren F1 being released in the 90s, shocking the world.

Thanks to his role, he not only made a lot of money, but had access to some tremendous McLarens. While the man had a world-class collection of Ferraris, once his company started making road-going cars, he sold all those machines from Maranello and started building his collection of McLaren models.

Ojjeh’s collection shows the progression of McLaren’s road cars over time. But the pinnacle is his personal McLaren F1 that’s a one-of-one finished in Yquem, a unique hue, and is also the first F1 to roll out of the factory.

Later, McLaren renamed the paint color Mansour Orange. Nobody else could order that hue, so they are all completely unique, only adding to their value on the open market.

Even better, throughout collecting McLarens, Ojjeh requested the final chassis number of each model. While that makes them all unique and thus even more collectable, the man did so because he wanted all of his vehicles to come with all the technical updates applied to each model line.

More astounding: only two cars out of the nearly two dozen in Ojjeh’s collection have beyond delivery kilometers showing. Those two are his F1 with 1,810 km on the odometer and the P1 GTR, which apparently was only used during McLaren track days.

The entire McLaren collection is being sold by Tom Hartley Jnr. No price is specified, but we’re pretty sure if you have to ask about that upfront, you can’t afford it.
