AlaraGames2025-07-074500

New leaks from Genshin Impact are hinting at a brand-new location being added to Natlan in an upcoming patch, likely containing a hint for the next playable region. With just over a month remaining until the launch of Genshin Impact's newest region of Nod-Krai., HoYoverse has been giving fans plenty of reasons to be excited about the locale. The game's newest playable characters have begun to drop major hints about the region, with Skirk debuting in Version 5.7 and Ineffa set to launch in Version 5.8. Now, fans may be seeing one last addition to Natlan soon.

Genshin Impact's next region is expected to serve as the lead-in to one of the most highly-anticipated climaxes of the RPG's story. Nod-Krai will serve as the first exploreable sector of the Snezhnaya region, located near the southwestern tip of the nation and not far from Natlan. HoYoverse has teased several factions set to be involved in Nod-Krai's story, including the Knights of Favonius, the Treasure Hoarders, and the Fatui playing a major role among others. A new leak is now potentially showing how players will arrive to Nod-Krai.

Genshin Impact Leaks New Location Coming to Natlan

A new leak shared by prominent Genshin Impact leaker Miruko is hinting at a new area coming to Natlan, likely during Version 5.8 or 6.0. The small addition will serve as a new expansion to the Natlan region, adding a small pier and a port to one corner of the Pyro region. The port will reportedly feature a boat native to the Nod-Krai region docked on its shores, potentially hinting at the way players will arrive to the next major region of Teyvat. Genshin Impact's Version 5.8 will launch on July 30, while Version 6.0 will debut on September 10.

The addition of a new port to Natlan would not be the first time Genshin Impact has added new areas to lead into its next major region. Sumeru saw some small updates with both Fontaine and Natlan's additions, with a small port at the northern end leading to Fontaine and a pathway from the desert to Natlan. The addition of Sumeru itself also welcomed a major new expansion to the game's map, with players first able to explore The Chasm not long before the launch of the game's fourth playable region.

Genshin Impact fans are in for a busy summer with lots on the way from the HoYoverse RPG throughout the next couple months. Genshin Impact's upcoming Version 5.8 update will likely add the newest iteration of the annual summer event, with last year's event whisking players off to the Simulanka for some summer fun. HoYoverse is also expected to air the Special Program livestream for Version 6.0 on August 20, finally giving the full rundown on what to expect from Nod-Krai's launch. Genshin Impact fans shouldn't have to wait much longer to learn all about the game's next region.
