Gran Turismo 7 Update 1.60 Adds New Cars and Features to Racing Game in June 2025
Developer Polyphony Digital has released a fresh content update for Gran Turismo 7, bringing three new cars and a variety of other additions to the popular racing game. The latest update, dubbed 1.60, follows a consistent schedule of updates that have been released since the game's launch in 2022.
The update introduces three new European cars to the GT7 roster. The 1992 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Rally Car, a fan-favorite from older Gran Turismo games, joins the game alongside the 1987 Citroen BX 19 TRS and the 2021 Peugeot SUV 2008 Allure. These cars can be purchased from Brand Central or Used Cars, depending on the car.
In addition to the new cars, GT7 Update 1.60 also includes three new World Circuits events, a new Extra Menu themed around Mercedes-Benz, and expanded GT Sophy compatibility in the form of the Alsace Village track layout, exclusive to PS5. A new Scapes photo mode location set in scenic Scotland has also been added, which will likely excite GT7's photography enthusiasts.
The update also brings some technical improvements and changes to the game's physics simulation model, which was last updated in January 2025. However, some GT7 fans have expressed their dissatisfaction with the update, particularly with the addition of crossovers and SUVs to the circuit racer. Despite this, it's worth noting that each GT7 car takes around 300 days to model from scratch and add into the game, so even if Polyphony Digital were to act on the feedback and begin modeling more motorsport cars, it would take a long time for them to show up in the game.
