FleurGames2025-07-022140

July 14 is going to be a big day for Pokemon Sleep, as the game will be kicking off its Second Anniversary Fest event. However, the fun will start before then, with a Second Anniversary Prelude Event taking place kicking off in Pokemon Sleep even sooner.

Pokemon Sleep is one of the more unique experiences connected to Pokemon, with the app encouraging players to sleep a healthy amount every night. The game uses a phone's built-in equipment to monitor how well a player is resting, with good sleep leading to more Pokemon visiting the player's research area. Now, new Pokemon are joining the game, giving players a chance to meet someone new after a good night's rest.

July 20 will be the second anniversary of the Pokemon Sleep app, but nearly the entire month will have something exciting in honor of the date. Starting on July 14, players will be able to meet three Pokemon in Pokemon Sleep for the first time. The Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire starters Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip will start appearing in the game starting at 3:00pm local time. Their evolved forms will also be added to the game, giving players an opportunity to run into their favorites at their camps after a good night's sleep. More details on the event will be made available closer to its start, but players can likely expect several bonuses.

Pokemon Sleep Anniversary Party Starts on July 7

While Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire fans are likely excited for July 14, the fun will start even earlier. From July 7 to 14, players will be more likely to see the starters from the Pokemon Sleep First Anniversary Fest, namely Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, as well as their evolved forms. The event will be gifting players 150 bonus sleep points daily during this period of time, as well as 1.5x Dream Shard bonuses and 1.5x cooking pot size. On Sunday, the cooking pot will be increased to 3x its usual size, giving players an opportunity to use as many ingredients as possible for a Snorlax power-up.

While the three Pokemon Scarlet and Violet starters will be appearing in increased numbers, players will want to choose their camp site based on which Pokemon they're looking to meet. Fuecoco and Quaxly, as well as Sprigatito and its evolved forms, will appear on Greengrass Isle. Cyan Beach will feature Fuecoco and Quaxly, as well as both Pokemon's evolutionary trees. Taupe Hollow is exclusively Fuecoco and its evolutions, Lapis Lakeside will feature the full evolutionary family for both Sprigatito and Quaxly, and the Old Gold Power Plant will feature all three Pokemon families in their entirety.
