Diablo 4 has brought back the Mother’s Blessing event for another week, giving players 35% bonus experience and 50% extra gold from now until August 12. This makes it an ideal time for fans to catch up with the seasonal content of Diablo 4 Season 9, Sins of the Horadrim, or level up their alt characters.

The Mother’s Blessing is a periodic event that Diablo 4 has done several times in the past, often to delight players partway through its seasonal cycle. This week-long boost usually includes a bonus to experience and gold gains, and occasionally other benefits, such as the additional cache rewarded for each Grim Favor turned in at the Tree of Whispers that was available during March’s run of the event, and again in the Diablo 4 Mother’s Blessing week in June for the game's anniversary.
Mother’s Blessing Returns to Diablo 4 Until August 12
Now, Diablo 4 has brought back Mother’s Blessing once again. As announced via a post on the official Diablo Twitter, from now until August 12 at 10 AM PT, all gamers can enjoy a 35% increase to all experience gains, as well as a 50% boost to gold drops in Diablo 4. These bonuses apply to all World Tiers and Realm types, meaning both Eternal and Seasonal characters in Diablo 4 can enjoy these benefits.
It is currently unclear if the extra rewards from the Tree of Whispers are a part of this event. This aspect was not mentioned in the Twitter post, and there is no official announcement on the Blizzard website, but it has been included in every single iteration of the Mother’s Blessing in Diablo 4 since the extra loot was first introduced. However, considering it is a great source of experience and gold, players should definitely make sure to complete Grim Favors while they have this buff anyways, with or without the bonus cache.

This run of Mother’s Blessing kicked off right when the March of the Goblins event in Diablo 4 ended. During this event, fans could hunt down Treasure Goblins to gain progress towards earning fantastic rewards, including a coveted Resplendent Spark. March of the Goblins taking place back-to-back with the Mother’s Blessing has ensured there has been no shortage of things to do in Diablo 4 lately.

Unfortunately, there won’t be any other major updates to Diablo 4 for a little bit still. Blizzard recently confirmed there would be no significant announcements for Diablo 4 until Season 10, which is expected to arrive some time in September. Hopefully, Diablo 4 can continue to delight players by throwing out more of these engaging weekly events and activities to fill the gap between now and the upcoming season.
