Overwatch 2 players with a subscription to PlayStation Plus can currently claim the Gwishin Bastion Legendary skin, along with five Battle Pass Tier Skips, at no additional cost. This free bonus for Overwatch 2 is available now through October 18 for all PlayStation Plus subscribers.
PlayStation Plus is a subscription service that fans of the brand should be quite familiar with. In addition to providing access to online multiplayer, PlayStation periodically gives fans free games, exclusive deals, and sometimes even bonus in-game items just for being subscribed, with some rewards locked behind certain subscription tiers.

5 PlayStation Plus Games to Play This Week (July 21-27)
PlayStation Plus is still overflowing with fantastic games for subscribers to enjoy; here are five titles hand-picked by us for this week.
PostsNow, PlayStation is giving its Plus subscribers some awesome freebies for Overwatch 2. From now until October 19 at 4 AM PT, players who have any tier of subscription to this gaming service can claim Gwishin Bastion, a Legendary skin that transforms the sentry into one of the mysterious omnics who D.Va and the other pilots of MEKA must battle every few years. On top of that, fans who claim this new free Overwatch 2 bundle from the PlayStation Store also get five Tier Skips to help them progress through the Battle Pass.
Gwishin Bastion and Five Tier Skips for Overwatch 2 Via PlayStation Plus
CloseGwishin Bastion first appeared in 2019, about a half year before Overwatch 2 was announced. The skin was a part of the old Overwatch Archives event, and could not be bought normally outside of it. This changed in Overwatch 2, where it became purchasable via the Hero Gallery, or occasionally through store bundles. There is also a very small chance for this cosmetic to appear in Loot Boxes among countless other Legendary skins.
While one’s first instinct may be to claim this bundle immediately, PlayStation Plus subscribers might want to consider waiting before doing so. Overwatch 2 Season 18 starts on August 26, which will include a new Battle Pass to progress through. While these Battle Pass Tier Skips can help players finish the Season 17 Battle Pass before then, claiming this bundle after it is completed, or once Season 18 starts, can give fans a head start on the next one instead. This is especially smart for gamers who expect to complete the Battle Pass via gameplay or XP rewards from Overwatch 2 events like Hacks & Hijinks, but haven’t fully finished it yet.
There are some other pretty exciting perks to enjoy from the PlayStation Plus subscription service right now as well. Fans can enjoy titles like Diablo 4 and King of Fighters 15 for free, and can get items for several other popular games, including the Emerald Gamer Pack for Fortnite. Gamers who already have PlayStation Plus should be sure to claim all of this free stuff so they can get the most out of their subscriptions.
