The gacha spinoff of Persona 5 quickly eclipsed Persona 5 Royal's peak player count, which saw 35,474 players diving into the enhanced version of Persona 5 following its Steam launch.

The trailer showed off several iconic locations from Persona 4, including Inaba's main shopping district and some shots of Yasogami High School, with a later report from Sega suggesting the game's release is still a ways off.
