A dedicated speedrunner is working to beat every game released for the Nintendo Wii. Launched in 2006, the Nintendo Wii was the successor to the popular GameCube, and competed with the iconic PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 during its lifecycle. The console received hundreds of games during its years on the market, and several of them became memorable among Nintendo fans.
Considered one of the best games on the Wii, fans remember Super Mario Galaxy as a challenging but very entertaining experience. Unlike previous 3D games, Super Mario Galaxy takes place in deep space, and players explore planets of all sizes. Responsible for hours of fun and heated discussions among friends, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the third entry in the franchise. The game introduced 15 new fighters and was the first Smash Bros. to feature third-party characters with Solid Snake and Sonic the Hedgehog. The Wii is a landmark console in Nintendo's history, and to celebrate its legacy, one player has started a challenging quest.
