World of Warcraft Making it Much Easier to Get to Delves in Patch 11.2

World of Warcraft Patch 11.2 is adding a portal room in Tazavesh that provides fast travel to every active Bountiful Delve. This convenient chamber will allow players to quickly travel to these high-priority Delves with little effort once it arrives in the next World of Warcraft update.

Blizzard recently revealed Patch 11.2, Ghosts of K’aresh, which is the final major content update for World of Warcraft: The War Within. The patch takes fans to the broken homeworld of the Ethereals and Brokers, and introduces tons of new instanced content, including the Manaforge Omega raid, Edo-Dome Al’dani dungeon, and the Archival Assault Delve.

Were this not exciting enough, the new update is adding a helpful quality-of-life improvement for Delves. Tazavesh, the mega-dungeon Broker city from Shadowlands, is returning in World of Warcraft Patch 11.2 as a major player hub. While exploring this area on the Public Test Realm, WoW content creator MrGM discovered a room full of portals that transport fans to active Bountiful Delves from The War Within. Beyond providing transport to these reward-rich Delves, this also provides a quick way to transport all over Khaz Algar, though the destinations shift from day to day.

Right now, there are only two ways to get to a Bountiful Delve: fly there the old-fashioned way, or use the Delve-O-Bot 7001. This toy, which is earned via Wow: The War Within Season 2 Delver’s Journey, teleports players to a random active Bountiful Delve, so long as they are outside, but fans have no control over where they go, and it has a cooldown of one hour.

The vast majority of players seem to think this portal room is a huge improvement, with some wishing Blizzard had added this feature much earlier in The War Within. However, there are some that fear it defeats one of the main purposes of Delves: to get people out in the open world. It remains to be seen if World of Warcraft will add a similar feature for Midnight’s Delves right away, in a later update, or not at all.

This isn’t the only quality-of-life improvement related to Delves coming in Patch 11.2. The World of Warcraft world map will soon show the Delve story variant active on a given day, and the Delver’s Journey for Season 3 includes a new toy called the Delver’s Mana-Bound Ethergate, which teleports players back to the Delver’s Headquarters in Dornogal. Needless to say, Delve enjoyers have plenty to look forward to in Ghosts of K’aresh.
