The delivery of the track-only machine, based on the Maserati MC20, took place at what many call the "Temple of Speed," providing a fitting backdrop for the presentation of one of Maserati’s most extreme builds to date. Weighing just 2,756 pounds and producing 730 horsepower from a twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6, the MCXtrema is engineered solely for circuit use. It sends power to the rear wheels via a six-speed sequential manual gearbox and a mechanical limited-slip differential.

The car presented at Monza was uniquely customized in a “Tech Beast” livery theme, blending gloss and matte blue tones with a white rear, Trident emblem, and racing number 44. Inside, the cockpit is trimmed in dark blue and fitted with optional components including a rearview camera, passenger seat kit, and an extra cooling fan.

Maserati’s Head of Corse, Maria Conti, called the MCXtrema “the ultimate expression of Maserati’s DNA,” blending the company’s deep racing heritage with cutting-edge performance technology. Only 62 examples of the model will be produced, reserved for a select group of the brand’s most loyal clients.
Delivery of the vehicle was made even more special by the involvement of Maserati’s Chief Test Driver and world champion Andrea Bertolini, who handed over the car and guided the owner through a track session as part of Maserati’s bespoke “MCXperience.”

To complete the experience, the buyer received a full Sparco racing kit—including a Maserati-branded racing suit, helmet, gloves, and shoes—underscoring the brand’s commitment to delivering more than just a car, but a motorsport lifestyle.
