New edits of one Grand Theft Auto 6 screenshot have recently been shared with the community, showing how huge the upcoming open-world game will be. We know that the new game will be huge, but Grand Theft Auto 6 fans are still not entirely certain how big the game world will actually be.

Grand Theft Auto 6 was officially revealed in December 2023 with an immensely popular trailer, which gave fans the first glimpses of the game’s Vice City and its protagonists, Jason and Lucia. Last month, however, GTA 6 was delayed until May 2026, disappointing fans who were eager to see Vice City for themselves soon.

Now, a gamer called FrozenFrost2000 has shared edited screenshots of the most recent GTA 6 trailer, which were credited to another player called Jaxrud. In the four edited pictures of the Leonida Keys shared by the fan, it’s possible to see southern Vice City, allowing the community to spot more details about the region. In these screenshots, the map looks absurdly huge, and FrozenFrost2000 circled some areas that they believe could be a river or a canal in the region. In the post’s comments, most gamers were excited by how huge the map looked, especially considering it was only showing a small portion of what will likely be the entire region of Leonida.

Vice City Looks Huge in This Grand Theft Auto 6 Screenshot

Earlier this year, Rockstar revealed major areas that will be featured in Grand Theft Auto 6, such as Vice City itself, the Leonida Keys, which can be seen in the image. Others, such as Port Gellhorn and Mount Kalaga, do not seem to appear in the image, though.

This is just one of the latest attempts the community has made to understand how big Grand Theft Auto 6 will be. Back in 2024, for example, one modder tried to recreate GTA 6’s Leonida territory, attempting to showcase how the title could potentially look after it was released.

In any case, gamers will have to wait until Rockstar finally releases GTA 6 to finally explore the region. Despite frequent leaks and rumors, there is much that fans still don’t know about Rockstar’s next blockbuster. Recent rumors have claimed that Grand Theft Auto 6’s final chapter has been in development hell for a while, and much of it was apparently cut during development, but Rockstar remains silent on the matter. Hopefully, GTA 6 will not be delayed again, and fans will discover the game’s map for themselves in less than a year.
