Two new events are coming to Monster Hunter Wilds, offering limited-time rewards for players who participate. Released earlier this year, Monster Hunter Wilds has proven itself to be a worthy addition to the legendary MH franchise, bringing huge quality-of-life improvements to the tried-and-true monster hunting formula. Continuing the trend started by MH: World, Wilds is the most beginner-friendly Monster Hunter yet, with its Focus mode's auto-targeting making hunts more accessible than ever.
Since its release, Monster Hunter Wilds has seen two free Title Updates, bringing much-requested additions like Layered Weapons, new monsters, fresh outfits, and additional game modes. Every week, three or four new limited-time events are introduced into MH Wilds' cycle to give players a chance to obtain exclusive prizes. Owing to the game's live-service nature, Capcom routinely rotates these events in and out, while also adding new ones to the mix every now and then to keep things fresh.

Monster Hunter Wilds Event and Challenge Quest Schedule Adds Highly Requested Feature
Capcom reveals the upcoming Event and Challenge Quest Schedule for Monster Hunter Wilds, while also confirming a fan requested update.
Posts 5In a recent post on Twitter, the official Monster Hunter account announced two new upcoming limited-time events for MH Wilds, running from July 8 to July 22. One will be a 6-star Event Quest named "An Inferno Laid Bare," which will require hunting a Nu Udra in the Oilwell Basin at HR 31 or higher. Players will be able to use the materials from a successful attempt to craft the Pinion Necklace α, a shirtless chest armor for Hunters, and the Felyne Bell Collar α, a new Palico body armor. The second will be a 5-star Challenge Quest called "Fleeting Bubbles," which will task players with slaying a Mizutsune in the Wounded Hollow at HR 21 or higher. Exclusive pendants will be awarded depending on performance, with rarer variants being locked behind better completion times.
Monster Hunter Wilds Adds Two Limited-Time Event Quests
Challenge Quests in Monster Hunter Wilds are time-based hunts where faster completion leads to better rewards. All participants in these special events are given a set of standard equipment to hunt or slay the target within a time limit. Not only are meal effects disabled, but Palicos cannot assist during the hunt either. Typically, rewards for Challenge Quests are only distributed one or two weeks after the event ends, once the rankings are finalized, which seems to be the case for "Fleeting Bubbles" as well.
CloseRotating Event Quests are one of the most important pieces of the puzzle for Monster Hunter Wilds as they give Capcom an easy, repeatable way to keep adding more content to keep players engaged. The core gameplay loop, while fun, isn't meant to last forever. Even the RNG-based crafting system of MH Wilds can only keep one engaged for so long before it starts becoming stale. However, while weekly events have managed to retain a small, loyal audience hooked on the systems, inviting more players to come back to Wilds once more might require something more.
