Want to visit all Tennessee Buc-ee's? Here's the ultimate Buc-ee's road trip including Crossville, Sevierville and a bonus stop

Gas stations are rarely the highlight of a road trip. More often, the dimly lit highway hubs serve as nothing more than brief, refueling pit stops on a grander journey to cleaner, more scenic destinations.
Buc-ee's, however, is not a regular gas station.
The Texas-based chain has a cult following for a reason. People travel from all corners of the country to shop for Buc-ee's Nug-ees, brisket sandwiches and browse aisles upon aisles of red-and-yellow merch glowing under fluorescent lights like a convenience store cathedral.

The travel centers, which are often as big as football fields, are beloved for their pristine bathrooms, competitive fuel prices and the permanently grinning beaver mascot with the thousand-yard stare.
For many travelers, Buc-ee’s has become more than just a convenient stop — it’s the main event, the crown jewel of U.S. highways. Tennessee is home to two of locations, and this guide shows you how to visit them both in a single road trip, plus a bonus stop along the way.
How many Buc-ee's locations are there in Tennessee? What is the closest Buc-ee's to Nashville?
There are currently two operating Buc-ee's in the Volunteer State, with a few more in the works.
The first Tennessee store, located at 2045 Genesis Road, opened in Crossville in 2022. The second store is located at 170 Buc-ee’s Blvd. in Kodak, near Sevierville. Although both Buc-ee’s locations are technically local, they’re situated more than 100 miles from Nashville.

Locations have also been announced for West and Middle Tennessee, including a store in Murfreesboro and Gallaway, just outside the Memphis metro area.
Embark on Buc-ee’s Tennessee road trip loop: Crossville, Sevierville and a bonus stop
You'll log some serious miles on this trip. According to Google Maps, visiting both Tennessee Buc-ee's locations, plus the one in Smiths Grove, covers more than 400 miles and takes around 8 hours of total drive time.
You will, however, want to give yourself enough time to explore and indulge in everything the stores have to offer, so plan accordingly and allow for some extra time to purchase a commemorative T-shirt or two.
