The beloved post-apocalyptic RPG series from Bethesda features a wide variety of different technology for players to discover and use, putting a futuristic spin on the game's 1950s aesthetic. While the overall culture of Fallout's world remained in the post-war era, the advancement of technology saw marvels like Power Armor and the Pip-Boy wearable computer emerge. The user shows off a fantastic recreation of a Fallout terminal, creating the design out of the shell of a broken Heathkit H89 computer and accenting it with Fallout designs and stickers. The Fallout terminal is also fully functional, running Linux Mint as its operating system and even revealing that the Reddit post was made from the fan-made terminal. The user is also planning to further tweak the operating system to make the real-world terminal's user interface look similar to Fallout's in-universe computer systems.
