Schedule 1 has some amazing news for fans, as developer TVGS confirms that the smash hit indie game is now available to purchase again in Australia. Schedule 1 was unexpectedly removed from Australia earlier this year, and although many believed the game had been banned, TVGS revealed that it simply needed to go through the correct age certification process before it could be relisted. Now, almost two months on, Schedule 1 is available in the country once again.
There's still another six months of the year left to go, but 2025 has already been filled with some massive releases. From Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, it's been a great year for video games so far. But it hasn't all been about the big AAA releases, as many smaller titles, such as R.E.P.O. and Schedule 1, have been dominating on Steam. The latter of the two may have been created by a solo developer, but it hasn't stopped it from achieving some incredible records. Not only has the hit indie game peaked at almost 460,000 concurrent players, but Schedule 1 has also sold 8 million copies and generated $125 million in revenue in just a few short months.

Posts 3But it hasn't all been sunshine and roses for TVGS, as Schedule 1 was unexpectedly removed from Steam in Australia back in May. Fans were quick to speculate that the drug-related themes of the game had resulted in a ban from the Australian government, but TVGS quickly clarified that Schedule 1 needed to undergo the correct age certification process before it could be made available for purchase. Thankfully, two months after the game's removal, the studio has taken to Twitter to confirm that Schedule 1 is now available in Australia again. Players in the country should now be able to boot up Steam and buy the game once again. Those who already purchased Schedule 1 before the game's removal shouldn't have seen a difference, as it should still be available in players' game libraries.
Schedule 1 Is Available Again in Australia
Schedule 1's return to Steam in Australia has come at the best possible time, as TVGS is currently gearing up to release a big new content update. Earlier this year, the developer gave fans the opportunity to vote between three major Schedule 1 updates. These updates were: Cartel Wars, Shrooms, and a Police Expansion. The vote was available in-game over the course of a few days, with Cartel Wars emerging as the winner with the majority of the votes.
CloseThere's no set release date for the next Schedule 1 update just yet, but TVGS is reportedly aiming to launch the highly anticipated patch toward the end of this month. While it could still be a few weeks away before the Cartel makes its way to Schedule 1, there's still plenty for fans to check out. Late last month, TVGS released a smaller content update known as v0.3.6f6. The update included a handful of bug fixes and improvements, but the major addition was the off-road skateboard, which allows players to traverse the map much more easily, as it can go right over curbs.
